Dr. Neil Parsan became Ambassador of Trinidad and Tobago on February 14, 2011.
Parsan has an extensive background in business management. Previous to his appointment he was CEO of HealthNet Limited — CL Financial Subsidiary (2004-2010); Director of TrinVision Enterprises (2006-present); Director of ParMor International (USA)(2006-present); Director of ParCorp LLC, Director of Centaur Investments (Caribean) (2007-present); Director International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (Caribbean Chapter)(2007-present); SaMaya Trading (Antigua)(2008-present); FirstToKinow consultant (2007-present); Director Document Wizard (2007-present); and consultant Business Development Company of Trinidad and Tobago. He has also worked as owner/surgeon of the Ridgevale Clinic, anatomy lecturer at the University of the West Indies, and as a customer service representative for American Airlines.
Parsan received a diploma in International Trade Management from International Trade Management Worldwide, Swedish Trade Council and a Registered Financial Consultant designation (2007-2009). He also received a certificate in Acute Care Management from the Harvard University School of Public Health (2008). He has an International MBA from The Institute of Business at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine (2004). In 1995 he received the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine.
Parsan is a member of the Animal Welfare network, the Trinidad and Tobago Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to animals, the World/Caribbean/Trinidad and Tobago Veterinary Medical Association, and the British Chamber of Commerce.
He is fluent in Spanish as a second language.
He was born on September 3, 1971 and is married.
