Choral Arts' 44th annual holiday concert and gala was held on Dec. 16 at the Kennedy Center.

Estonian Ambassador Kristjan Prikk and his wife Liis were honorary patrons at Choral Arts Society of Washington’s annual holiday concert and gala at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Dec. 16. Now in its 44th year, the event titled “O Night Divine” charmed guests with Christmas music by the Choral Arts Symphonic Chorus and Orchestra, followed by a silent auction and dinner on the roof terrace.

The Choral Arts annual holiday gala is a standout event of Washington’s holiday scene, drawing over 400 local business leaders, diplomatic dignitaries, DC trendsetters and others.

This was the second partnership between Choral Arts and the Embassy of Estonia in recent months. Last October, the organization and Prikk worked together to present a performance at River Road United Unitarian Congregation, where the ambassador gave remarks on Estonian choral traditions.
