Before Ngedikes Olai Uludong was Palau’s Ambassador to the United Nations, she served as the Ambassador to the European Union and Belgium.  Serving concurrently as Ambassador on Climate Change, she was the lead negotiator for the Alliance of Small Island States on the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change between 2012 and 2014.

In addition, Ms. Uludong has served as a consultant, adviser, and planner in a number of South Pacific island nations, specializing in climate change and the environment.
 

She graduated from the University of the South Pacific with a Master of Science degree in climate change and graduated from University of Guam with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice.
